A magnitude-5.2 earthquake jolted Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Qinghai Province at 7:44 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 37.83 degrees north latitude and 95.43 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, the center said.
