China and the Gulf region have long been close partners. As the Communist Party of China marks the 105th anniversary of its founding, experts from the Gulf region share their admiration for China's achievements.

Kuwait is the first Gulf state to establish diplomatic ties with China. Speaking to CGTN, Sheikha Al-Anoud Ebraheem Al-Sabah, a member of the Kuwaiti royal family and also an expert of China-Kuwait relation, said, "The Chinese government has been promoting and working hand in hand with the people of China to promote economic development of China. We've seen advancement in artificial intelligence and renewable energy. We've also seen electric SUVs, the newest in the world, in addition to several advancements in sectors. How do we see this? Here we admire this advancement in a very short period of time and the successes China is celebrating."

China proposed four global initiatives in recent years. According to Charbel J Barakat, head of the foreign desk at Al Jarida newspaper, these four global initiatives, particularly the global security and global governance initiatives, are especially important in today's world, which is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century. 

Barakat said some major powers have abandoned their responsibilities in the international community, constantly touting their own superiority and prioritizing their own interests while ignoring the legitimate rights and interests of other nations. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, however, China upholds the concept of a community with a shared future for humanity and fully puts this concept into practice, providing valuable experience for countries to work together to address challenges.

Experts in Doha, Qatar share a similar idea. Steven M. Wright, director of the Leadership Knowledgebase of Qatar Leadership Center, speaks highly of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. From the plan, one can see China continues on its pathway to greater prosperity, he said, adding that this also translates to benefits for the wider international community.
