Heatwaves are baking Europe, and China-made air conditioners have become a lifeline. But while enjoying the cold air, some European politicians are also shouting "decoupling" or "de-risking." Would anyone in his or her right mind do that? Honestly, this isn't just double standards anymore. This is fraud. European officials really ought to buy themselves an air conditioner and blow some cold air onto their heads – because they are talking even hotter than the heatwave. The European politicians should face the reality, that China is indispensable for the lifestyle that the Europeans want to keep, or if they aspire for an even better life.
