Chinese firms help keep medical equipment running after Venezuela quakes

Chinese enterprises in Venezuela have been supporting hospitals treating the injured after two powerful earthquakes struck the country on June 24. In Caracas, employees from a Chinese medical equipment company worked with Venezuelan engineers to check and maintain ventilators and other critical devices at local hospitals, including Domingo Luciani Hospital. The team collected maintenance materials, inspected equipment and coordinated with manufacturers in China when needed to help ensure the stable operation of medical devices used in emergency treatment.
