The coffin of Iran's slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was placed on display in Tehran on Friday, July 3, as officials gathered to pay their respects.
The display comes more than four months after Khamenei and several family members were killed in the opening salvos of the US and Israeli attacks against Iran on February 28.
Funeral ceremonies and processions for Khamenei, expected to draw millions, will continue across Iran and Iraq from July 4 through July 9.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on Thursday that officials from more than 100 countries will attend the funeral ceremonies.
