Chongli, a ski town located some 150 kilometers directly north of Beijing, made its name during the Winter Olympics. It now welcomes a different kind of speed in summer. Resorts like Fulong and Thaiwoo have transformed their winter slopes into mountain bike downhill parks, with trails ranging from beginner to expert level. With an average summer temperature of just 18.4°C, riders are greeted by cool breezes and lush greenery at every turn, unlocking a whole new side of this Olympic town.
