A cross-Strait youth exchange summer camp, organized by the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots (ACFTC), kicked off in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province, on Saturday.

Over 300 college students from the Taiwan region attended the event's opening ceremony, alongside students from mainland universities, including Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

In addition to visiting famous historical sites such as the Yellow Crane Tower, participants will tour facilities including the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and the Xiaomi Smart Home Appliance Factory to experience cutting-edge technological advancements and take part in special activities such as AI video production.

Since the launch of the summer camp in 2004, nearly 30,000 young people from Taiwan have participated in its activities, according to the ACFTC.
