Along the Qinghai-Xizang Railway in western China, decades of wildlife-friendly measures are helping Tibetan antelope thrive. Trains slow down and refrain from sounding horns at wildlife crossings, while railway maintenance avoids migration seasons. Today, Tibetan antelope can often be seen resting beneath the railway bridges, undisturbed by passing trains. Their population has grown to more than 70,000, highlighting the success of conservation efforts.
