China successfully launched a new batch of Qianfan polar-orbit satellites from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site on July 5. Carried by a Long March-8A rocket, the satellites entered their preset orbit. The Qianfan constellation is designed to build a low-Earth orbit broadband satellite internet network, aiming to provide wider, lower-latency connectivity, including for remote and maritime areas.
