From July 4 to 5, the Embassy of Ireland in China opened its doors to the public for its annual Discovering Ireland Open Day, bringing the country's vibrant culture to life in China. Traditional Irish music, energetic step dancing, authentic cuisine and a variety of interactive activities invited visitors to experience the richness of Ireland's heritage firsthand.
Irish Ambassador to China Nicholas O'Brien said he hopes events like this will inspire more Chinese people to discover Ireland – not only for its breathtaking landscapes, but also for the warmth and hospitality of its people.
