"Sports is a universal language," remarked Rodney Hanley, president of Northeastern State University (NSU), during an interview with CGTN at the China-US youth baseball exchange event in China. The week-long gathering brought together eight young baseball teams from both countries and offered US participants a diverse range of Chinese cultural experiences. Reflecting on the exchange, Hanley said, "What I value most about Chinese culture is its openness."
