Stringer Dispatch: 'Don't target our children,' plead families in Gaza

Global Stringer

On July 7, Israeli forces launched multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip, killing at least seven people, including a child, and wounding many others. CGTN Stringer interviewed a relative of the wounded at a hospital. He said this was the fourth time they had been struck – the children were playing in the street when the bombs fell. This area was supposed to be a safe zone, where they had settled after being displaced, but the bombings have never stopped haunting them. Five members of his family were wounded – all of them children. He appealed to international organizations to help stop the targeting of children and the tents where they live.
