IDF Spokesperson: The IDF has eliminated the head of the Nuhba squad that raided Kibbutz Nirim in the October 7 massacre. The IDF attacked yesterday (Tuesday) in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Imad al-Rahman Abu Ta'ima, head of the Nuhba squad in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization. During the October 7 massacre, Ta'ima raided Kibbutz Nirim. Throughout the war, Ta'ima commanded the Nuhba squad in ambushes against our forces. Recently, alongside promoting additional terrorist plots, he has been involved in maintaining the terrorists' competence and trying to recruit new terrorists for the organization. The terrorist posed an immediate threat to our forces operating in the area and was eliminated in a precise air strike. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threat.
