China's mega dam wins major science & tech award

China's Baihetan Hydropower Station has won the First Prize of the 2025 State Science and Technology Progress Award for its key technologies. The project tackled some of the world's toughest hydropower challenges, achieved 12 world-first milestones, and set new benchmarks for future projects.
