Iran sent separate letters to the President of the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations regarding the U.S. attacks. Iranian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations:The United States has once again, in a blatant violation of the UN Charter and its international obligations, launched extensive military attacks against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.These actions constitute another blatant violation of Article 2, paragraph 4, of the UN Charter, and a fundamental violation of Article 1 of the Islamabad Agreement.
