The 38th Hundred Flowers Awards, Baihua Jiang will be held in Beijing from August 7 to 10, bringing a series of film events to the Chinese capital. Launched in Beijing in 1962, the awards are known for their audience-voted tradition, connecting Chinese cinema with moviegoers across the country. This year's program will include an opening ceremony, film symphony concert, public outreach performances, forums, nominee recognition events, a film artists' entrance ceremony and the awards ceremony. Screenings will also take place in cinemas and commercial venues across Beijing, alongside youth film events, AIGC programs, short-drama showcases and support activities for emerging directors.
