The core offshore converter station of China's first integrated sea-land flexible DC wind power project has set sail from Zhenhua Wharf. This giant power platform holds global records for its power transmission capacity and can withstand extreme typhoons and earthquakes. After a week-long sea voyage, it will be installed in deep waters off Yangjiang, Guangdong. The facility collects offshore wind energy and delivers clean power to the Greater Bay Area, helping build China's first long-distance offshore power grid.
