On July 10, the Long March-10B successfully completed its maiden flight and achieved China's first controlled recovery of a carrier rocket's first stage. Descending from space, the reusable booster was captured by a specially designed net recovery system at sea, marking both China's first successful rocket recovery and the world's first net-based recovery of a carrier rocket.
