To mark the founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the July 1 Medal has been awarded to Chen Junwu, an academician and pioneer in refinery engineering. The prestigious award, representing the Party's highest honor, recognizes Chen's foundational contributions and more than seven decades of service to the development of China's domestic oil and petrochemical industry.
