Authorities in Valencia have activated a network of water cannons to soak vegetation in the Albufera Natural Park as soaring temperatures increase the risk of wildfires. The system, designed to create wetter conditions and help slow the spread of potential fires, comes as forecasts predict temperatures of up to 41°C across the region.
