A fire broke out at a bar on Lat Phrao Road in Bangkok late Sunday night, killing 27 people and injuring dozens of others, according to Thai authorities. Firefighters brought the blaze under control in about half an hour, while rescue teams searched the scene and transferred the injured to hospitals. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the site and said an investigation into the cause of the fire was underway.
