As Europe battles inflation triggered by soaring energy prices, some Western media outlets are pushing a "China Shock 2.0" narrative, casting China's advances in electric vehicles, lithium batteries and photovoltaics as a "new wave of pressure" on global markets.

Margaux, another local, added she wants to see a closer tech partnership, particularly in EVs. Both said they prefer win-win trade cooperation with China over "external shocks."
