Wang made the remarks when meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev on Monday in Beijing.

Wang Yi said Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will come to China to attend the 2026 World Conference on Artificial Intelligence and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai on July 17th through the 20th, while the two heads of state will have in-depth strategic communication to inject new impetus into the development of bilateral relations.

Initiated jointly by 19 countries including China, Indonesia and Pakistan, the International Organization for Mediation is the world's first intergovernmental legal organization dedicated to resolving international disputes through mediation. And the official launch of the initiative was conducted in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2025.
