In Longsheng, Guangxi, southern China, ethnic communities have lived among the same mountains and rivers for generations. The landscape of terraced fields stretching across the valleys carries layered cultural memories. In this episode of Village Voyage, CGTN host Julian Waghann and Filipino singer Eliza Arce traveled to Huangluo Yao Village in Longsheng. Beginning with the tradition of sun-drying clothes among the Red Yao ethnic group, they explored the colors, craftsmanship and everyday wisdom woven into these garments. Their journey culminated in a vibrant bonfire gathering where different ethnic communities came together in celebration.
