Yellow River sediment regulation wraps up, floating bridges reopen

China's 2026 Yellow River water and sediment control work has wrapped up. As river levels continue to drop, crews are rebuilding floating bridges along the lower reaches to restore cross-river travel. This annual project clears river silt, prevents floods and protects local wetland ecology.
