Iranian reports: Iran Rescues Crew Members from Maritime Collision in the Strait of Hormuz. This morning, July 12th, a report was received about a maritime collision north of Qeshm Island. Initial investigations indicated that a bulk carrier had collided with another vessel. Following the collision, in coordination with the Hormozgan Province Maritime Search and Rescue Center, a support vessel and a tugboat were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and assess the extent of the incident. Fortunately, in coordination with the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC), all foreign crew members of the vessel were safely evacuated and transferred to Qeshm Island.
