The nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage of Yuxian paper-cutting in Hebei Province has a history of over 200 years. Unlike other forms of paper-cutting, it does not use scissors but is entirely carved out of rice paper. CGTN host Julian Waghann and Mexican traveler Juan Carlos Cheang Guzman learned from a Yuxian paper-cutting master how to carve through dozens of tightly stacked layers of rice paper in a single stroke with pinpoint accuracy.
