Hot Take: Drones don't carry people – except when they do

After Typhoon Maysak triggered severe flooding across parts of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, many communities were left cut off, with roads blocked, power out and communications down. But help came from the sky – in the form of drones. They flew over flooded valleys to deliver lifesaving supplies, restore mobile signals, search for survivors and even help bring stranded residents to safety. That's what technology looks like at its best – not replacing people, but reaching them when nothing else can.
