A promotional event for the fifth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on Wednesday, bringing together representatives from political parties, media organizations, think tanks and other sectors.

Yelnur Beisenbayev, head of the Internal Policy Department Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, pointed out that the book is an important document for Kazakh readers to gain a deeper understanding of China's political development direction, state governance practices, principles for maintaining national unity and social stability, and its long-term development strategies. He stated that although the state development models of Kazakhstan and China have their own characteristics, there are quite a few common philosophies that bring the two countries closer together.
