As extreme heat hits eastern China, a worker suffered heatstroke and became trapped atop a tall industrial tank while working outdoors. Firefighters rushed to the scene, provided emergency cooling treatment, and safely lowered the weakened worker to the ground using safety equipment. The man has since fully recovered. The fire authorities reminded people to avoid prolonged outdoor work during extreme heat.
