Basra Governor Asaad al-Eidani on Thursday announced a three-day mourning period for the victims of a car accident that killed and injured dozens of Arbaeen pilgrims in the city of Hartha.Authorities told local media that at least 9 people were killed and 12 others injured after a reportedly intoxicated driver plowed into a group of pedestrians.
