China's largest ethylene industrial base in the central and western regions is now fully operational, lifting annual ethylene capacity at the Dushanzi Petrochemical complex in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to more than 3 million tonnes per year. This landmark green petrochemical project hits a 99% domestic equipment rate, ending China's long-term reliance on imported core ethylene technology and units. It adopts innovative all-electric drive and low-carbon production tech, filling multiple domestic industry gaps.
