China's top political advisor Wang Huning visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from July 15 to 17, where he met with DPRK leader Kim Jong Un and other senior officials.
Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a party and government delegation to the DPRK for the official goodwill visit.
He also attended and delivered speeches at a reception commemorating the 65th anniversary of the signing of the China-DPRK Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance on Thursday.
