Rescue operations are underway after a landslide struck Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Friday, burying more than 10 residential buildings. Ten people had been rescued by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, all in stable condition, while more than 1,100 nearby residents were evacuated to safety.
