Yunnan Yukun recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Shanghai Port in the Chinese Super League on Friday, claiming its first point in four meetings with the club.

Oscar Taty Maritu and Bunyamin Abdusalam scored four minutes apart early in the second half to erase Shanghai Port's advantage after Wei Zhen and Yue Xin had found the net before the break. The result left both sides without a win in their past two league matches.

The visitors thought they had taken the lead midway through the first half, but Prince Ampem's finish was ruled out after Leonardo was caught offside in the buildup. Yunnan had earlier seen a goal disallowed because a second ball was on the pitch.

Shanghai Port eventually broke the deadlock in the 36th minute when Oscar Melendo delivered a cross from the left for Wei to finish. Four minutes later, Leonardo slipped a pass into the area for Yue, who cut inside and fired home to double the visitors' lead.

Yunnan responded quickly after the restart. Kleber squared the ball across the face of goal in the 49th minute, allowing Maritu to convert from close range. The hosts were level four minutes later when Alexandru Ionita set up Bunyamin, who squeezed a low shot in from a tight angle.

Shanghai Port nearly restored their lead in the 77th minute, but goalkeeper Bao Yaxiong produced an outstanding save to deny Leonardo's close-range header.

Neither side found a late winner. Yunnan moved up to third in the standings with 25 points, while Shanghai remained 13th.

Friday's other results (home teams listed first):

Qingdao West Coast 1-1 Chengdu Rongcheng

Henan FC 5-1 Qingdao Hainiu

Beijing Guoan 1-1 Liaoning Tieren
