Four artificially bred Arctic wolf cubs, the first of their kind in China's Henan Province, made their public debut at a Zhengzhou aquarium on their two-month birthday. Born on May 10, the two male and two female pups currently have grayish-brown coats instead of the white fur seen in adult Arctic wolves. Following a public vote, the healthy cubs, each weighing over five kilograms, were named after four Chinese solar terms – Grain Buds, Grain in Ear, Summer Solstice, and Minor Heat. The pups are currently transitioning from breastfeeding to a solid diet of milk, minced beef and chicken bone paste.
