The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance is underway in Shanghai, China, from July 17 to 20, under the theme "AI Partnership for a Brighter Future."

Discussing hopes for cross-border AI collaboration, bridging the digital divide and everyday AI applications, they highlighted the opportunities AI could bring to Thailand's health care, education, agriculture, transportation and elderly services. They expressed strong anticipation for deeper China-Thailand AI ties, adding that accessible AI technology can reduce inequality and drive inclusive growth nationwide.
