The 2026 FIFA World Cup came to a thrilling end with Ferran Torres scoring the winner in extra time as Spain edged Argentina 1-0 in the final to lift the trophy.

Held from June 11 to July 19, the tournament was jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico and was the first edition to feature 48 teams.
