US forces on Monday launched a new wave of strikes against Iran, marking the 10th consecutive day of US attacks, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said. Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that several explosions were heard in southern and central Iran on Monday night and early Tuesday. Earlier on Monday, US President Donald Trump vowed retaliation for the recent deaths of US service members. 

Mediators proposed 10-day ceasefire to revive Iran-US interim deal, senior Iranian official said on Monday.
