Rare moose caught on camera in Heilongjiang wetland

A drone has captured rare close-up footage of a wild moose in the Hongxing National Nature Reserve in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The animal is seen swimming across open water, then climbing onto the bank to pick leaves and munch. The sighting shows the reserve's wetland ecosystem is recovering as the moose, the world's largest deer species, is highly sensitive to habitat quality.
