The US Central Command (CENTCOM) on Tuesday claimed striking military targets in Iran for the 11th consecutive night.

"The strikes are designed to continue degrading Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz," CENTCOM said in a post on X, adding strikes began at 2300 GMT.

Iran's air defense system was activated early Wednesday morning, Iranian media reported. Multiple explosions have been reported in other strategic cities, including Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Behabahan and Kangavar.
