US Central Command released footage on July 22 showing what it said were its forces carrying out a 12th consecutive night of strikes against Iran. CENTCOM said the strikes targeted Iranian maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, coastal surveillance sites and air defense assets.

According to Iranian state media, Ramshir and Ahvaz in southwestern Iran came under missile attack early Thursday, Tehran time, while authorities in Bushehr Province also reported a US missile attack. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on X that Iran's defense doctrine is an "eye for an eye," warning that any aggression against Iran, including its infrastructure, would bring a powerful and decisive response.
