At least 15 people were killed and 40 others injured in rain-related incidents across Pakistan over the past 24 hours as monsoon rains continued to affect parts of the country, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Wednesday.

According to the NDMA, nine deaths and 38 injuries were reported in the eastern Punjab province, while six people were killed and two injured in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
