As summer temperatures soar, visitors are heading to Wuhan Polar Ocean Park in central China's Hubei Province for a refreshing escape. At the cool, climate-controlled exhibits, families can get up close with a variety of marine creatures and land animals while enjoying a break from the heat.
The park is also helping its animal residents stay comfortable. Ring-tailed lemurs, macaws and other animals are treated to special summer "cool-down meals" including chilled fruit and refreshing ice treats, keeping them happy and comfortable throughout the hot season.
