China's first multi-functional long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed in accordance with airworthiness standards completed its maiden flight in Yantai City, east China's Shandong Province, on July 26.

Codenamed TP200, the UAV was independently developed by Yi-Tong UAV System Co., Ltd. Specifically designed for long-endurance, high-altitude operations, the TP200 can remain airborne for more than 24 hours with a full load. The TP200 supports a wide range of missions, including long-range maritime patrol, offshore search and rescue, and routine coastline monitoring.
