Slovak President Peter Pellegrini is on a state visit to China from July 27 to 29. A CGTN stringer hit the streets of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, to hear residents' expectations for the president's state visit to China and their perspectives on the evolution of bilateral relations. 

Interviewees praised China's accomplishments in infrastructure construction and technological advancement, while expressing hope for enhanced cooperation in technology, economy and trade that could deliver tangible benefits for Slovakia's development. Several respondents also showed interest in visiting China in the future, noting that stronger exchanges and cooperation would be mutually beneficial for both countries.
