Emergency crews are working around the clock in Huidong County, south China's Guangdong Province, after Typhoon Noul hit the coastal area with powerful winds and heavy rain on Sunday.

The storm caused widespread power outages, blocked more than 30 roads, and uprooted over 5,000 trees.

More than 5,000 firefighters and emergency responders have been deployed to clear debris, restore essential services and assist affected communities.
