China is stepping up efforts to build a tourism powerhouse. Under the "Tourism Powerhouse Construction 15th Five-Year Plan" issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, domestic travel spending is expected to hit 7.7 trillion yuan, or more than 1.1 trillion US dollars, by 2030.  CGTN's Lincoln Humphries and Yu Hongyu visited two of the country's most popular theme parks to see how they are capitalizing on the trend.
