China's Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday released a document titled "China's Position on the So-called Excess Capacity Issue."

According to the ministry, the document was issued to clarify the facts surrounding the issue and elaborate China's policy stance on the so-called excess capacity issue.

The document states that the rapid development of China's modern industries has been driven by innovation, while the stable and healthy growth of its industries has been supported by the continuous deepening of reforms.
