At an elevation of roughly 4,530 meters, Serling Tso is the largest lake in Xizang Autonomous Region. Its vivid blue waters reach out as far as the eye can see, spreading out across the plateau like a peaceful sea.

Beside Serling Tso lies Cuo'e Island, known as a "paradise for migratory birds" and a breeding ground. During the breeding season in May and June, the island is at its liveliest, attracting more than 20 species of birds that build their nests and raise their families here.
